Tesimonial, and a caution

Got my D-P a couple months ago and didn't wait 30 minutes to put it in. Been trying to get on here and praise the thing, but i can't seem to quit playing with it! I got the 120 play, but the 80 econ has got enough umph to keep me happy. Mileage in the 80 econ went from 18 to 19.5 (not using lie-o-meter), and I'm getting 21 on the 60 econ! I can see goat heads in the rear-views instead of looking at taillights. After the smoke clears, of course. The only problem, and this is the caution part, BFG MT tires WILL shed the tread at about 30K. I'm sure the added HP and my lead foot helped some, but body damage ain't something I look forward to.
Every now and again I'll put it in stock mode just to remember. I must be masochistic. It was like buying a new sport truck. Can't believe I waited that long to get it!!

That's the reason you see so many seven dot three drivers grinning from ear to ear. Makes the cops wonder what your up too. Maybe, DP should put a warning label on those things.

Thanks Guys!!

On thought-I should call Discount Tire and see if I can get free coupon booklets to send out since we send them so much business.

60e is great for going down the highway, 80e is fantastic in town & for blowin smoke thru rice burner windows!! I also got the 1300 fast idle, 120 play tune, which i dont use much cuz I'm chicken, and the 20 & 60 tow. Haven't had the chance to use to heavy tow tune, but I like the way the tranny acts while in tow tune.

Does the tire discount cover simply roasting the tread off when trying to gun it from a standing start in 140a? That's all I've managed to do on my tires. Turned tires with a ton of tread into slicks. At least on the rear.

Is this stop and go or highway driving?

That was highway. There aren't really any big cities down here, but combined in town/highway for me was 15.5 - 16.2 mph

Better be careful. If the FDA finds out about them, they'll try to make them prescription only.
