Transmission troubles?

Transmission shot? My 77 F150 has been parked for about 6 weeks. I drove about 30 Km turned it off for about 20 mins then proceeded to drive it home only to find that while in "D" it wouldn't change gear (automatic). No leaks underneath but fluid was low...topped up the fluid but still no change. The truck drives fine in "2" and "1" and shifts through all the gears. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

My 79 was doing that after installing a c/6 that had been sitting about five years, changed the modulator valve and it works better than it ever did.

was thinking mod valve myself. also check the hose at manifold and mod ends sometimes they rot and leak vacuum

Thanks guys...just ordered a mod valve and i'll check for vacuum leaks.
