Looking for some more power..

Hey guys just lookin for some advice. I dont know much about the 7.3's but my buddy has one and is trying to get more power out of his. He's is wanting to run about 35psi and is looking for the most efficient way to get there. I believe all he has on it now is an exhaust, intake and some sort of programing. Any help or advice is appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to FTE bro. The simplest way to get 35psi is with a GT38R turbo. Tunes adjusted to suit and your off. BUT your stock sticks will be struggling to keep up with the air that thing is pushing. What year is the truck. Whats ya m8 really after when he says 35psi. Pushing that much pressure without all the appropriate utensils is a waste of money in my mind. Could be just a matter of updating he's tuner to get the desired result.

What is so magical about the number 35? Do you know that boost is a measurement of restriction right?

So when my boost gauge is showing "0", I'm running at peak effficiency. LOL
j/k, Kris Being all else the same, moving more air volume through the same restrictions will produce more boost/backpressure.
