I was at IH today looking for the IPR o-rings and they said the old part number here was the correct one and had no record with the new part number. it was $19 if it was in stock,... which it wasnt,... and would be about a week before they got anymore unless Iwanted to pay special shipping.
Carry a can of starting fluid, if it happens again give it a spray to get the motor spinning and be on your way...
Thats what i did when my IPR o-rings were dead and had to wait on the o-ring to be ordered... it went for 3 days before it finally died and would not restart at all even when it was cold or on starter fluid.
Rodney, It'd be nice if those stealth pumps had a remote IPR setup like the Termies have. I like where Joey put the IPR at on his now. it's very easy to get to.
Really curious about the hpop seals though. I have to do this myself, mine leaking bad.
Come on William. I knew what I was talking about so I thought you would too. I've got the original stealth pumps with 2 hpop's and 2 IPR's. I meant the 2 o-rings on the body of the valve, I doubt the split backup rings are bad and I've got extra spacers and tin nuts. So yeak, 4 new o-rings is all I need.
What's leaking on yours? The gasket between the pump body and the front cover, the seal between the reservoir and the front cover or the o-rings at the ends of the high pressure lines?
The IH kit is probably just the o-rings, not the collar and tin nut.
thats why it is cheaper.
No! It has the same parts as the Ford kit. Ford stuff usually costs more just because the bend you over every chance they get'.
Years ago I went to get a cover for the fuel bowl and my friendly neighborhood Ford dealer wanted $42.xx, I bought one from IH for $7.42
When I put the D60 under the front I again went to Ford for the banjo bolts to attach the brake line to the cylinder. $13.00 EACH and they wanted to special order them. I aint been back since.

Me too, I went to IH today and 1825806C92 is still a valid part number and they have no idea what 9X-1484 is. They didn't have them in stock either but they'll be here on Thursday for $15.00. Of course I won't be able to pick them up because I have to go to Vermont to pick up a couple of little tractors.

Man I wish it was that easy. I gotta remove the fuel system, the IC piping, the GPR and all the high pressure lines before I can even see the pumps and then I still hafta remove one of the intakes to get them out.

That's an old picture, maybe I washed it just for the pic, I can't remember. Mostly I just keep it in the garage. I've put less than 2000 miles on it in the 2 years it's been here in NY. I think it's about to turn 153000.
