need help with F250
Hey guys, i'm new at this so please be patient. lol. I just repaired my 2005 F250 6.0 power stroke diesel with a new egr cooler and a oil cooler. It has 74000 miles. It runs fine but at time the low fuel light comes on and the fuel gauge drops to zero. and then it fixes itself and then back again. I have a super chips programer which makes it possible to check the engine codes. One of the codes is PO460 which says "fuel level indicator circ error" and the other one is P0 463, "fuel level sensor circ high input." I have no idea what could have caused this since we did nothing involving the fuel. We did however have a hard time getting it started and i thought i read somewhere that, this could confuse the sensors. 4 days ago i thought i had fixed these codes by adding some "diesel clean" in the fuel tank and they when away. After filling the fuel tank today,they came back,,, any help would be great,, what these codes mean and where to find the sensors... thanks so much... Herb
