the truck i've been building for the past few years is a 1970 f250 4x4 highboy. im a old school ford enthuiast to the core, i got 2 mustang 2's, a torino, and a galaxie ragtop. i've just gotten acquainted with highboy chassis' and discovered not much is known about them. the chassis stems from a '72 250 highboy with np435 trans, and dana 24 transfercase. as well as dana 44 "closed knuckle" front axle. i can't find any technical info about any of my driveline/chassis components. as well as the popular question about power steering, the chassis already had the "urban legend" saginaw backyard conversion. it worked, but everything was welded together to work. that was the problem. also if anyone knows anything about external gas tanks? if any one has any tech or questions contact me please!! i can probaly answer some of your questions.
