Psi while driving on sand?

Psi while driving on sand?
My question is what should my psi be when driving on sand? I'm running 35x12.50x20 nitto trail grapplers. Last year when I drove on the beach with pretty bald stock tires I was goin no where. Almost got stuck several times. Should I drop the psi or leave it??
