4 way wired wrong

4 way wired wrong
i have a 1994 f250. when i went to go connect a trailer i noticed that the guy happened to wire up a female adapter. is there a kit i can buy or can i cut the the old adapter off and tape the ends of the wires and tap splice them?? any info would be greatly appreiciated
