low idle vibration
hey all. fairly new here. read alot of posts but not many of my own. i have an 09 f150, 4.6 3v, 2wd 3.55 rear, screw. i noticed lately as i sit at long red lights or drive throughs there is a slight vibration. it usually is idling at about 500 or so rpm, with the a/c on. i can feel when the a/c cycles and have ruled that out. it almost feels like it is something with the injectors or maybe bad gas. but once moving, it goes away. it also occurs with the a/c off. anyone have this happen?

I have this same problem with my 97 4.6L, the vibration is a cylinder dropping and your engine going out of sync. Normally it is a fowled spark plug or a wire arcing. If you have aluminium heads be careful taking the plugs out because the threads are very easy to strip out. The way you can tell if your wires are arcing is by spraying a small amount of water on them with the engine running, if they are arcing you will hear an electric snap.
