I think for us nubs, newbs and newbies, we need an acronym guide. I read through alot of these posts and it confuses the hell out me because i go WTF is FICM? If anyone would be willing to help this out i would love it. It just would help me understand what you professional guys are talking about.

bill I dont know why you sig line says green handle but.... the handles should really be yellow. after all you dont put diesel in a green or red gas can. it goes into a yellow fuel can.
I really dont know who started the "green handle" thing

so far as acronims goes I had a fairly complete list a few years back I may still have it. I wanna say it went back about 15 years and was something like 47 pages.

If I ever find it again Ill send it to mark to file it.

 

I agree, particularly for those who are new to this site. When I was first on here, it was hard to get through a thread and understand half of what was being said. Those of us who have been here for a while become unaware of the numerous acronyms used here, with the presumption that everyone knows what we are talking about. It would be a nice addition to this or any site. Mike

Around the west they mostly seem to be green handles. I have seen some yellow ones. So I know it is not universal. You knew what I meant though, right?
