fuel pump

fuel pump

in a 77 f150 would the fuel pump going out also cause the fuel gauge to not work. thanks

Fuel pump has nothing to do with the gauge.

didnt figure so since the float is independant however it just all seems weird ran fine one day the next it wont start im getting no fuel from the line when I pull it and try to start it so I assume my pump went but when I do get it to run by pouring gas into the carb the needle stays buried on E and ive got well over 3/4 of a tank. everything worked like I said just fine the day before.
