Putting front rotors and brake pads on, what size rotors? 13 or 14" something.. 2001 F250 supercab, ordering them today! Can't take the wheel of to measure them. (no jack)
Sorry Ronnie, Don't remember the size off the Top of my head, but anyone that sells the rotors should know the size FT to Back Fitment based off of your trucks info too. Are you going with aftermarket Rotors and Pads?
A friend is helping me do them! Yes he has a jack When I called the parts place they said there is two different sizes listed.. Got to go to work now 2nd shift I will wait till tomorrow to order them. Thanks much everyone! I will check back here when I get home!
That is the samething I was told--(Napa shows a 13" and a 14.5") They told me I have to measure them. I gave them the axle# to. Maybe I should call ford and ask them?
The 2 different sizes typically refer to the "hat" size, i.e. the measurement from the inner face of the hub surface to the inner face of the disc itself. Early 99's were different than the 99.5+ models. I have a 99 F250 that has a 99.5+ drivetrain with an e99 chassis. With a 2001, there shouldn't be any worry about that.
Hello again, I'm going to order the 13" rotors. If anyone else have any info. I need to order them soon so they get here Friday morning! Selling my cabin got to tow the trailer to haul things back home. Suxx to be me, that was my pride and joy. Oh well life goes on.......
I would recommend searching here for rotor size, I did one real quick for you with a bunch of hits and came up with this right away. Guy has an 02 and had the same problem. Wonder if those larger rotors are for a 450/550?
