2007 Navigator Cluster replacement help

Hey guys, i have an 07 navigator and i broke my cluster (speedometer). i am getting a really good deal on a 2010 navigator cluster and was wondering if it will fit my 07 Navi? It looks exactly the same.

Whether it fits or not, it won't let the truck start until you get the PATS in the cluster tied to the truck. I had to do this with a 2001 F150, and I believe these still work the same.

i see, i can get the cluster programmed but is it same for 2010 and 2007?

Kinda doubt it, but I really don't know. There are probably some upgrades in the message screen that the '07 didn't have.

Just curios how you break your cluster?

I would call the dealer and see if the part numbers are the same and ask them if it's compatible. Most service people are helpful.
