What engine is the last international or are Ford deisels still built by them?

The 6.4 is the last of them. The new 6.7 is a Ford designed and built engine.

The 6.4 was the last in a Ford. I'm sure there will be other Navistar engines in other applications.

ford could have built a great diesel right from the start. they have the expertise,but like so many companys with overpaid ceos they decided to outsource the engines.now i-h builds a nice reliable intermediate truck motor with low horse power and good longivety. along comes the ford engineers in a horsepower race with their competitors,and without consulting the navistar group,start writing tunes to get the h-p&torque up to the level of their competitors.big mistake! they weren't designed for it.we paid the price. i think that the new in-house motors will rock and will put my money on it
