5.0 VS. 4.6
Know it may be a dead heat, but curious how popular the 5.0 is versus the 4.6 in a practical comparison in E-150. Suppose there's a choice between a '96 Club Wagon w/5.0 & a '97 Club Wagon w/the 4.6 motor. Similar mileage, similar condition.
Presume the 5.0 is cheaper & easier to work on? Presume a 4.6 out performs the old motor?

Funny how EPA gives the same MPG estimate for these.
'96 w/5.0 is listed at 12/17, so is the '97 w/4.6, leading me to ask how much "better mileage" the 4.6 gets in the real world?
