IAC valve issues??

Hello all, 2003 F-150 here!!! My truck was having idle issues and stalling sometimes, so I replaced the IAC valve and the TP sensor. Now my trucks idle is up back to normal and not stalling, but now there is a loud humming noise. I have a K&N intake system and when I pinch the air hose going to the IAC valve the noise kind of goes away. What the hell is up........help me please!!!

Check out this thread over in the Aerostar forum addressing the IAC and a "howling" noise.

Fix my problem!!! I received the wrong part from the auto parts store. The part looked a little different, but I thought it was just cause it was an after market part. When replacing the IAC valve........it's got to be exactly the same. If not, you'll get a loud humming sound do to the fact that the valve is not operating the way its supposed to. I was able to track down the exact same part at another auto parts store. I installed it and that annoying fog horn sound was gone and my idle was back to normal. I hope my trial and error helps ya"ll!!
