When you say nothing works ,do you mean no lights, no crank?
If so grab a test light and start with the obvious, the battery, check for volts. Then work your way down the smaller of the wires from the positive to the fusible links, to the solenoid and in to the harness. If you are not getting crank, sounds like you got an open circut between the solenoid and the battery. If you got no dash lights as well, I rekon the fusible link has blown and you will need to replace.
You blew your fuseable link. It is located on the wires coming off of your starter solinoid, run down your inner fender and head twards your alternator. You may have to undo some of the balck tape to get to it. I did the same thing. You can replace it with a wire for a patch . But it is better to go to the junkyard and splice in a new one.
