i think my truck hates me, this might be a little long winded so bear with me. I bouhjt my 79 f250 in jan, when i got it the brakes were crap. Changed the front rotors, and pads never did the back since i couldnt get the axle shafts out(dana 60 FF). thought i was good, When i changed my oil yesterday i noticed that my porpotioning valve was leaking, replacemnet on the way. then i noticed my left right drum was leaking fluid, so now i have to do the rear wheel cylinder , but how the hell do i get the axle shafts out to remove the drums to do the job. I cant afford to take it so a shop any help would be great
Remove the wheel, then just remove the axle bolts and it just slides right out. Then you will have to remove lock nut, lock ring, another nut, bearings, and drum assembly will slide off.
