Black smoke an codes
My fuel mileage has been way down lately. I noticed the other day when hit the gas pedal I get a puff of black smoke. It does not matter how hard it hit I still get a puff of smoke. I checked all the obvious things like intercooler boots air filter. Everything looks good. Which leads me to believe it's the MAP sensor is bad, causing to much fuel to be burned. So I pull the codes from the odometer and they don't match any codes I found in this forum. The two codes I get from the odometer are DTC d262 and 9352. Any insight into these codes would be much appreciated. Mike

Mike, I had issues with using the odometer to get codes too so don't go by that. Where are you located, maybe you live close by to someone who has AE or a superchips and can get you the right codes.

I cannot find a D262.......

Is there some one around you that can read the codes with an AE?

DOnt worry about lunch man it is what we do here. I have to go to Bilericca in the next 2 weeks we can set up a day then?
