Sounds like my next phone!

The only issue (for me) is that the phones cannot run the software to write up and submit my orders to the home office, which is my primary justification for being tech-ready with my laptop while on the road.

No problem, Doug... I'm having to postpone due to some water-related damage at the house which came from my A/C condensate pump quitting on me in the basement, and I am also having to now replace my alternator and am going ahead to upgrade it to a HD 160 amp unit from Quick Start (complete with a second remote rectifier).

So you don't have any additional wisdom to offer regarding antenna options?

Let me add this: While convenient, all-in-one antennas are ALWAYS a compromise. If you can split one or two of them off, the performance will be markedly better. A single-band antenna nearly always performs better than a dual-band (with a few specific exceptions), so keep than in mind. If performance is your key goal, think about maybe splitting the GPS off to a separate one. Just worth mentioning, since you are putting so much thought into this...

Thanks, Joe. Good points, to be sure. As funds permit, I'll be driving this effort forward soon (now that I'm putting in an alternator which will have enough juice to keep my gadgets well-powered).
