my 03 windstar only has 37000 miles on it and is starting to have problems with the lights on the inside. the dome lights would blink and stay on for a awhile. i had to turn off the dash switch to stop this. i put in a new light switch and it still does this blinking trash while driving. now my power windows are acting up. the drivers window goes down and some times i need to slam the door to get it to go back up. sometimes the door ajar dash light comes on and I'l check all the doors and there all closed tight but that light will be on and the door locks will lock and the light will go out after driving about 2 miles. that only happens when the door light comes on, any help that would solve this issue would be great. thanks. p.s. no dealer in my area can tell whats wrong

 

Well I'm not a Ford tech, but what you describe sounds like a Body control computer issue (if you have one) or water has gotten into a fuse block or electrical connector or something is grounding out intermittently. Remove trim panels at the rockers and lift up the carpet and look for water intrusion. Finding these kind of problems suck, and so does your local dealer apparently.
