Just found this sight and I must say that I'm impressed. A friend of mine was showing me a 2nd Gen. Camaro site that he belonged to, so I started searching and found this one for me. I'm the oddball of the group, here in Chevy Country (Between Marion and Anderson Indiana) as two friends build and collect 1st and 2nd Gen. Camaros, I build old Ford trucks. I drive a '97 F-150 White,4.6, Fiberglass Cap, PCW 16" Wheels. Dad and I are currently building a 1950 F-1 Extended cab. I know Ford didn't produce one but that has not stopped us. All it takes is a couple of cabs, torch and welder and the urge to jump in with both feet(over my head!) and an '83 F-150 to donate the "modern" frame and running gear (the list keeps getting longer!). I'll post progress Pics when available!

It's good to hear from you all. The 50's cab is mostly buttoned up, needs a few more interior braces in the extended section plus floorboards, but those will wait till the frame is rebuilt, if I get a chance, I'll take some digital pics of the cab this weekend and post them. I'm in a small garage and can't wait for the weather to break! BTW, did I tell you that the truck will be getting a .30 over 351 Cleveland 4bbl with a 4 yanker??? first thing I did was build the engine.
