power loss....another question
I'm getting serious power loss in m y 97 4.6, it does not start to pull until it reaches 3500 rpm, the engine has 333000km and is throwing no codes, has new plugs and wires...I was thinking cats at first, but discarded that idea because it starts pulling at higher rpm's (not nearly what it should though) I've searched other posts and read about re-flashing ecms and such, but quite frankly this doesn't make a lot of sense to me. It does not run any better cold either, so closed or open loop...it;s just plain bagged but runs great (read smoothly)
