here is my prob. 90 f250 with diesel and 5 speed tranny. changed fuel pump, filter, injector pump, injectors, check valve on filter housing, glow plugs, glow plug control box. cleaned tanks and check fuel line to pump, also return line. motor very hard to start for first start , hard to restart after it runs for a while. runs ok. bout to check compression, and pull out hair lol. dont know what else to check.
sounds like you did a nice job with a total tune up.did you have the timing checked?
what did you use for glow plugs, and how many did you replace?
did you verify power to each glow plug connector?
how fast does the engine turn over? with no spark, and such high a compression ratio we need grunt, and lots of it.with both batteries up to par with at least 850CCA each, along with a good starter, and clean cables,is vital.
