i have a 2000 ford f150 4x4 with a 5.4L and awile back it started making a ticking noise at higher rpms like when i take off in first gear it does it right before it shifts into second and it also does it when it kicks down as i go to pass a car or move into they other lane. when i have it in first gear at about 23 to 30 mph is does it REALLY bad and its at around 3400 to like 4500 rpm it sounds like a ticking time bomb under my hood! just wondering if i could get some feed back maybe this has happened to someone elese before. thanks guys!!
