TROUBLE GETTING TO SPEED
I have a 2000 f350 sd 5.4 and it has a real hard time accelerating when starting out ,kinda like its bogging down have to mash the gas then it seems to be ok after it gets to about 30 to 40 mph any ideas there were not any codes and it seems to idle smooth once its going it seems fine thanx in advance

It might need a new IAC, or it may just need a tune up.
How many miles do you have and when was it last tuned up?
How does it idle when first started? is it hard to start?

First thing I would do is to get the codes read. You do NOT have to have a CEL to get a code. My suspicion is a cracked/broken plug boot. You DO have COP (coil on plugs) - correct? If it has been doing this for a while, the code will tell you what cylinder is acting up.

ok think the problem is taken care of it would seem I have a practical joker just checked the locking hubs and the passenger side was locked and the driver side was not sometimes I really dislike people just wish people would leave stuff alone thanks for your help anyway
