Tire size

Will LT285/70R17 (E range) fit a 2006 250 supercab 4x4 with no lift? Roughly 32.7"x11.5" to be put on stock wheels.

Thanks!

I think that would work just fine and dandy.

Factory 20's are 275/65R20, works out to something like 34.1", so you should be fine

Thanks for the info. Want to upgrade to a bigger tire without having to get a lift & new wheels. Wanted to make sure it fits.

I just looked that up and the tire is 11" wide. Looks like you can almost squeeze a 35" tire with no lift. The width just causes the problems. I'd like 33's and thats why I looked at the 285's (32.7 x 11.5). I just want a bigger tire without a wheel upgrade. So maybe I'll try these 285's and hopefully is gives a "fuller" look.

I currently have 295/70/17 on my 2005. Fits fine, no rubbing, plenty of room for a larger tire. The 17" wheels are 7.5" wide. A 11.5 - 12" tire is about as wide as I'd go.

What brand are you going with? I'm looking for a 285 all terrain but only find it in BFG in load range E.
