How do I stop the rattles?
A simple test: Grap the handle of the door that rattles and give it a shake. If you hear a rattle then the post, bumpers, or weather stripping need work.
I did this to my rear doors and adjusted the latch on the bottom of the door frame to get the left door to close tighter.

I tried tightening everything I could but very little improvement.
The hitop roof was the problem. The conversion company cutaway the original steel roof, and removed so much structural strength, the van's sides were flexing when going down the road. I couldn't even listen to the radio over the squeaking.
I didn't want to add crossmembers to the area where the original roof had been, so I pumped expanding insulation foam into the sides of the van.
It was a massive improvement. Virtually ALL of the squeaking eliminated. It is now an excellent, comfortable, long distance cruising vehicle.

I had to drill a few 3/8 holes in the lower interior skins to add foam, and remove all the interior panels, and used about 20 cans of foam, but it was worth it. The noise was gone, I had a much stronger body in case of a rollover, and it really kept the heat/cold outside the van.

With the interior panels off, I also added power wires to the rear, for later installing RV accessories, and repaired a few wiring mistakes from the factory.
