Electric choke
Hello neo and welcome to FTE!
My choke wire is hooked up with one wire to the back of the alternator.
I don't know if this is exactly where it is supposed to go (anyone?) but it was there when I got the truck and it's always worked fine. My wire is white with a black stripe.
Again, welcome
Chuck

Electric choke
Ford electric choke coils operate on about 7 Volts.
The stator terminal (which should be marked) only allows current to be sent out while the engine is running.
You don't want a choke coil receiving current all the time or at 12 Volts as it would burn the coil out.
Do you need to know which terminal the stator terminal is ?
It should be marked.
