2010 bed install
im putting a 2010 bed and tailgate on my truck due to slightly screwing up my other bed (plus i got a great deal). anyways i was wondering if there was anything that needed to be checked or done while i had the old bed off?

It's also a great time to change the rear shocks if they're due.

the rear shocks are still good but i was planning on doing a little under coating. could anyone maybe point me in the right direction on the hutch & harpoon? i think i need to start doing my homework on it.

I just got done putting a new 2009 bed on my truck. I didn't do the tank mods, really didn't have the time. the bed is easy enough to lift off if I decide to do it later. My truck was a pile of rust underneath. Took a needle gun to it for two hours and that cleaned it up real nice. 1 case of 3M undercoating and it looks much better. I replaced my rear shocks last week also, they were beat. the only problem I ran into was the harness that came with the bed did not match up with the harness feed from the truck. After a a few pin swaps and a 12 volt light I was in buisness.
