I just got the mounting hardware and bushing kits for my F2, but I'm not sure what order the bushings and washers go. I got new arm assy so can I assume I don't need those hose looking bushings that came with the kit? The hardware came with six bolts but for the arm assy you need 2 each again can I assume the the bolt that connects the arm to the body is one I need to get and is it the same as the others? This is a big step for me, my baby is finally takeing shape Thankx Dennis
Got a link to what you bought? Did it include both the rear arms and the front rubber washers? Not sure what you mean by "hose looking bushings"? There should also be 4 rubber pieces, kind of triangular, that get wedged into the rear arms to keep the cab centered.
If you do a search on "rear arms" I'm sure you'll find where there are pictures posted of the assembly. I can't figure what 6 bolts would be for; seems like there should be two front, two mid, and four for arms, but I don't know that they give you new bolts for the arms.
I got the bushing kit from dennis carpenter and the hard ware from NPD. I don't remember who I got the arm assy from. After getting the hardware I checked D.C, for their hard ware kit and they had two differant looking bolts for the rear arm assy. The NPD kit all six bolts are the same. The bushing set from DC has 4 rectangular rubber pads and steel plates, 4 round rubber bushings and washers,2 rubber bumpers for the arm assy and 4 of what looks like peices of rubber hose. Looking at a couple of bushing sets from differant places for a 48 there are some differances between them which confuses me. I'm not sure what order to put the rubber bushings and washes and which ones go to which mount. Its been along time since the cabs been off Also the holes in the mounting brackets on the frame are worn and are no longer round is this something that needs to be corrected. Sorry for the long post I hope somebody can help. Dennis
