Window Switch Issue

I looked at the other switch issues, didn't help. I am new, just bought an 02 250 7.3 diesel crew cab a couple months ago. Now, drivers side window switch does not work. (only the drivers window switch, other 3 on panel on driver's side work) Any advice? Do I have to replace the entire 4 button panel?
The driver window button itself looks to be a different shade of black than the others, almost like it has been replaced before. I took the panel off but couldn't find anything obvious. Can I take just the button off without breaking? Any troubleshooting help is appreciated.

The manual doesn't say if you have to replace the whole unit. It does say to pry up on the front of the panel around the switches, while pushing it forward to get if off the door/armrest area.
