Lund

My new 2011 F-450 cab/chassis is due to be delivered Aug 2. I've always had a Lund sunvisor on my trucks. I went to order one today and it appears Lund is no longer manufacturing the sunvisors. Wondering if the #12160 will fit the 2011 and if not are there any other manufactures out there ?

Should. The 2011 uses the same cab.

No, the hood would not be swapable as they changed the sheet metal in 2008. This includes the fenders, grill, and hood. The hoods should interchange from 2008 and 2011, but not all of the way back to 2005 as the design was different (pre-2008s have a fixed grill whereas the 2008+ has a grill attached to the hood). Just the cab shell itself (and doors) were reused from 1999-2011.

Note: you could probably make it work, but that would require using the 2001 grill and bumper too, probably headlights and header panel as well. Anything is do-able with enough ingenuity and the right checkbook. It would mean the 2011 would take a decade step back in design on the front end as well- looking a LOT like a 2001 (not that I am complaining).

Thanx but I'm not that ambitious. I'll probably just sell the Heat Extractor hood.

Thanx for all the info.
