What engine and transmission do you have?
Specifically, what problem are you trying to solve?
A "short" makes fuses blow and wires burn. If a fuse doesn't blow, burning wire is the best way to find the short. Since you didn't mention anything about offering your truck as a sacrifice at the altar of the fire gods, I am left to assume you really do not have a short.
