Help identifing a part

Can anybody help me identify this:

While I was doing my previous turbo repair (see: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...-both-ugh.html) I found this part laying basicly on top of the EGR cooler. For the life of me, I can't figure where it came from. It did not appear to fall out of anywhere while I was in the dis-assembly process, it looked like it has been there a while. It is brown viton.

Thanks - happy 4th

The pic looks like some sort of grommet or isolation foot.

Well if you haven't seen it, I guess I don't need it

Honestly though, I could not find where it might even possibly go. and the truck runs perfect without it.

I guess I will just keep it in the toolbox
