2003f350 tire size
I have a 2003 f350 dually 4wd 7.3 and I'm trying to figure out the largest tire I can put on my stock rims.I tow a 10,000# 5th wheel camper.I want a wider tire on the front end than the stock 235/85r16, but have to consider the duals on the back end so the tires don't touch.

You may be able to go to a 245, but because of the duals you can't use wide tires.....but you know that.
If you want more load carrying capacity, maybe you should upgrade to 19.5 rims.

If you are just after a wider tire for looks, just remember wider tires don't always carry more load.

Not really looking for more tow capacity but front end stability.My last truck was an f250 4wd 6.0 andI had 285/75r16 on it.blew the headgasket and cracked the egr cooler,truck had to go.The dually I have now seems to want to follow the contours of the road more than my f250 with wider front tires though it does carry the load better. I tought about just putting wider tires on front(265/75r16),lower profile(75 vs 85)should keep tire height close between steers and drives,just not sure if tires will hit fender well in tight turn..
