finished hooking up my snow stage 2. I can't get anything out of it. I tested the pump, it's good. Have power to the control module, pump, and switch. I'm lost, no clue what i'm missing. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.
Maybe you're not reaching the right PSI/Temp(don't know which one is used on that system) for the system to kick in. On my cheap set up I had a solenoid that opened at a certain PSI of boost.
It has a control module that I can set when I want the water to start and when I want it to spray at 100%. It is run by the boost levels. I would think with the gtp38r I wouldn't have that problem. I even tried unplugging the wastegate for more boost. Just can't get it to kick on. Sent snow tech an e-mail also hopefully will hear something from them also. Just figured I would ask experience too.
How do you know it isn't kicking on? Use the troubleshooting in the back of the manual to verify fluid flow. It will have you move your setting way down and then blow into the tube. Unhook your nozzle so that you can visually verify spray and not put fluid in your engine.
Water level hasn't changed. It's been over 100 miles since install. I'm going to try blowing into the boost tube again later. Ran some different grounds. Will update later,at a family function currently.
Unless you are running extremely heavy injection it isn't going to change much in 100 miles since your boost has to reach the level everytime for it to inject. Try function testing like it shows in the manual and let us know.
everything works in the system. I have done several wot runs and the water level is not changing. Could my boost line be too big? Because if I blow into the hose it will kick on the pump and spray. It's a good spray also not weak at all. Maybe I will try a smaller diameter hose, mine is pretty big. Don't know, out of options and ideas.
When I first installed my WI system, I put the pump and tank in the back seat so i could hear it kick on. I did this so I could monitor it until I was sure it was working. I also installed an LED light on the dash to tell me when the pump has power, and therefore, is spraying.
How about running a loop of the water hose into the cab so you can see if there is water moving through it as you drive?
Currently its turned all the way down. I'm going to hook a dummy light to the pump so I know if it is actually coming on or not. It should be noticeable when its working right?
Oh and my banks boost gauge just took a dive so I'm unsure of my boost psi currently. Will be getting new gauges shortly though. Boost, another pyro and trans.

Water will give you no more power, your EGT's will just stop climbing. You need to ajust it to where it comes on at about 10 psi. No less or you risk putting out the flame.
I also run a LED set up in the A pillar, one is on to show the system is armed and one that shows the water is on...
