Fuel Guage with Mind of It's Own!!!

My Fuel tank guage is driving me crazy!!! On a normal ten mile drive (to town and back) It will go from less than half (actual tank level) to empty all the way PAST full and then back again! I don't get it. It never did that before! It would fluctuate a little bit, but what's going on? Any help is always appreciated! Thanks guys.

Gotta be the sender, or loose plug/wiring. Keep track on your odometer to make sure you don't run out!! Does it do that on both tanks? Maybe the gauge in the dash??

Rear tank doesn't function right (so the previous owner told me) so I've just left it alone. The fuel needle sometimes correlates with the RPMs...going up or down as I accelerate or coast respectively. If I turn the truck to START just so everything turns on, it's at the correct level. However when I turn the truck off, it could be anywhere!
