E4OD to C6.... 4X4 swap

So I picked up an 86 f150 the other day for free. only has 160000 km's, has a 351w that's is blown up, c6 trans and transfer case. Im going to be putting the trans and transfer case in my truck and do the whole 4x4 front end swap as well ( has the same gear ratio as mine) My truck is a 90 with a 302 (E4OD). Can i use my flexplate along with the backing plate that is behind the flexplate? im going to be putting the MLPS in neutral for the time being until i get everything working correct. But the main concerns i have are 1) is the flexplate, starter, backing plate the same that is currently on my 302?. 2) is there holes in my frame to accommodate the c6 trans crossmember? 3) is the 4x4 shifter linkage the same? ( i know i have to cut a whole in the floor) 4) is the shift linkage for the trans the same? i know i need to get kickdown linkage, but can i set it to shift in manually until i get my kickdown linkage? thanks in advance.

Can`t really answer your questions except for No4. The shifter linkage will be different but should be easily modified with parts from the donor.
The C6 does not require the kickdown rod to be connected to shift properly so you can leave it off and downshift manually for passing.
However you must have full manifold vacuum connected to the vacuum modulator on the trans.

well, i can get the shift linkage for the transmission to truck out of an 88 or 87 with a 302 c6 that i came a crossed today, along with the kick down cable when ready. main thing I'm concerned about is the flexplate. i read that the c6 has the drain for the converter in the face of it (pointing towards engine), does my e4od flexplate have the hole to allow for this? thanks.

Another good question. You are right about the C6 drain bung. I would doubt that the E4OD flexplate will have a hole for that. Maybe look up flexplates at summitracing.com or jegs.com and compare part numbers.
