Fuel pressure ?
I have had a problem with power loss in my truck for the past few weeks and I am slowly trying to check everything I can think of. I was checking the fuel pressure today and it was 50psi at idle. When I reved the motor with the truck in park the pressure dropped to about 30psi. Is that normal for a mechanical pump. I would have thought it would rise. Anyway I was curious if that was normal or I have a problem somewhere. Oh yeah the pump only has about 65000 miles or so. Thanks.
