Clutch Questions

I have a couple of questions about the hydrolic clutch setup on a 95 pick up. Basically, is there any site or does anyone have the dimensions on the length of the input shaft and bellhousing of this transmission? Also, does the slave cylinder serve as a bearing retainer? I am asking these questions because in addition to my '66 F100, I have a '65 Mustang with a T-5 tranny in it that i want to update the clutch system in. I love the way the clutch in the trucks feels and i want to (if possible) adapt that slave cylinder to my car. If the slave cylinder/throwout bearing serves as the bearing retainer for the front of the transmission, will that slave cylinder bolt up to a T-5? Also, what type of fitting is on the end of the hose that goes into the slave cylinder. I have checked the part out at the local parts store and it looks like some quick-connect fitting, but I'm not sure. Does anyone have any ideas?

Clutch Questions

It is a quick-connect, but it's such a POS that even Ford doesn't recommend opening it. They say to replace the system as a whole assembly when possible, but it sounds like you're talking about a concentric slave.

The Haynes manual tells how to bleed the system and probably how to work the connectors. It also has exploded views, but so does this site. The concentric slave holds the release bearing, and will probably fit many transmissions, but you'll have to carve a small slot in the side of the bellhousing.
