Michelle, all I can say is working for the Government or its contractors, 95% of the time it is who you know not what you know. I worked for Government contractors throughout my career & believe me that always stuck out. Asking questions that nobody knows off the top of their head is common.

Can someone tell me what this creature is? We took these in the White Mountains @ over 9000 ft. He showed little fear of people. We were within 50 ft of him. He even gave us a few poses.
Finally we have nice warm weather. about 104 here today.

Can anybody identify this creature. We took this picture in the White Mountains at over 9000 ft. This animal showed little fear. I was within 50ft of him. He gave me a few good poses almost like he knew he was getting his picture taken.

Good morning Nevada. I hope everything goes well today. Craig, after looking at some photos on Google, I have to say it is poss. a large groundhog. Just an uneducated guess based on info and pics I got off the internet. If it's on the internet it's gotta be real right???

It's a 1994 V6 Mustang Pat. I bought it last year with a blown engine for $350. I was thinking that a simple re-ring kit and I would be golden, man was I wrong. The block was destroyed
Now I have a V6 out of a T-Bird SC that I am putting in the Mustang. I got the new lights on the car and went to put the rear main seal in, but could not find the seal. I'll have to see if I can get one today after I find out how much I get on my check. Then install it next Wednesday.

Craig, I agree with Jeff, it's a woodchuck, or also called groundhog. Quick check on Wiki, some people call woodchucks, land-beavers. lol
P.S. - 110° right now, and I ran through a pretty hard downpour about an hour ago. Gotta love the monsoons.

That is kind of what I was thinking also, but wasn't sure. Never saw one this close before.
Anyway thanks for the input.
What a beautiful day today. It was warm this morning. I don't think it got below the 80s last night. It was warm until the afternoon when we got a great rain. It cooled things off to the high 70s.

GOOD EVENING NEVADA. Family Reunion today at Callahan Ranch on Mount Rose. My wife is related to them. It was a great time, good food & great company. We meet every year so it is always nice to see everyone. We had family that come this year from Oregon.
