got the fuel transfer issue from one tank to another. I have a new valve from my ford dealer but I cannot locate the valve on the truck, anyone know where it is?
also, one of the lines to the rear tank ruptured yesterday- it is the line that has 3 lines bundled together. Dealer says its NLA- any way to repair this line?
Mine is along the drivers side frame rail about 2-3 ft in front of the tank/rear tire. There again, I have an 89 F250. Dont know about your rupture though. Im still learning myself.
Your '90 does not have a frame mounted selector valve or fuel pump just high pressure pumps in the tanks, so curing the fuel transfer problem involves dropping a tank and changing the fuel delivery module.
The valve fits another truck.
If has an electrical plug and three fuel ports then it fits an older 80 carb truck with the engine mounted fuel pump.
If has 6 fuel ports with an electrical plug then it fits a 80's truck with a 460 and a carb. or a Diesel.
If it has no electrical plug with 6 fuel ports then it fits a 1986-1989 F-series or a 1986-1990 E-series.
