right along with my work load.... i have other people waiting
i have spent more time working with them to pick a color as i will have painting there house. thing is they knew last month i was going to paint for them...you would think they would be ready for me.
My Uncle lives there... he is not a painter, but.... when i visit him i could stop by and take care of it.
Haha! Thanks Bill! You are very kind to offer.
I don't know how long till you visit your uncle, but my wife has noticed it needs doing. I would be willing to wait a few months, but I'm not so sure about her! For some reason she thinks she is allowed to make the schedule, which she can do, but it does not often affect when things actually get done. Sometimes, if she gets too impatient, she will just hire it done.
we would hope to visit in the fall, but that is up in the air now with the wife not working. best advice i can give would be to hire a licensed contractor, call around.... every contractor i know needs work and are willing to deal. it should not take more than a day for a good painter.
Some of my old crew are now contractors. I'm sure I can get a nice deal. I need to go around the whole place and make a list of things that need to be touched up. I do it every year so I have only painted the whole thing twice in twenty years. I always have paint on hand.
Yea, wasn't it 100 degrees at 3 am last week in Phoenix?
Yeah, its been like that a lot lately! It had been until lately that I wait till after midnight or 1am to start working the colts, but with it sitting in the 100's all through the night, I gave up! I cant work em in that kinda heat, especially with them all coming from where its ice and wind all the time! Humidity has jumped too, making it real interesting to deal with! We did get a break a couple days ago, and by 6am it dropped to 98. Today was a lot better, just wish we could get over this heat soon!
On the whole painting gig.. Nice! Did they assume the best decision to be made, shouldnt be made this year? LOL!
