hi boys im from australia and have a 1983 f250 on petrol and lpg. i had a new carby put on last week now it wont start on lpg, starts on petrol and changes to lpg no worries. this only happens when its cold any clues?
I've got a SprintGas system that gives a shot of gas when you go to ign, I'm quite surprised how well it starts and runs cold.
If it worked before then there's got to be a difference in the carby setup somehow, and the only one I think could effect the gas is the throttle plate position. Does it show signs of starting? maybe just crack the throttle a touch when starting?
I know they don't like trying to run on petrol and gas at the same time, is there any chance that there's some petrol in the carby when you're trying to start it on gas?
