Mornin all,hot and sunny up here too.Jason I drove into terrace and back last night and was looking at the indians new poo pond you were working on down on 37N,the heavy equipment is hard at it.That sure looks like alot of pond for very few people.

It is alot of pond for very few people. The plant will only discharges for 4-6 months a year, so the big pond is a storage basin to store the poo for the rest of the year. The two smaller lagoons are the actuall treatment units. Plus there is a UV treatment system on the discharge pipe.

Over $6million for that sewer system and I don't think the village could have more then 500 residents!

Paid for by INAC, so all Ottowa.

These super expensive and useless projects happen on reserves every day and cost us Billions every year.

Atleast I get a job out of it!

I have a logger buddy that was working down in the copper river area.He told me that the company had to pay the local band $80k to transport the logs from the cut block across "their land" and onto the local mill.NUTS!!

Oh yeah, they blockade roads all the time, claimingg enviromental concerns, or loss of "traditional hunting/fishing territory" all the time, but all they ever want is money.

A local Chief wanted 30k to attend the opening ceremony for the expanded runway at the smithers airport.
