Brake Question
Ok guys and gals here is my question....I have to get brakes tomm. and put them on because I have a wedding to go to this weekend....now I was wondering which would be better...AutoZone (Duralast Gold) or Advance <NOBR style="FONT-FAMILY: inherit; COLOR: darkgreen; FONT-SIZE: 100%; FONT-WEIGHT: normal" id=itxt_nobr_0_0>Auto
</NOBR> (Wearever Gold). Now i know they arent the best brakes in the world but they are better than metal to metal. And i dont think I need them but should I put on the P-brake shoes also? I dont have a lot of cash so i figured I could do that down the line.

+1, I would get the cheapest set of either house brand to get you through until you can do a proper brake job.

X3. I'm using the DureLast Golds with my stock rotors until I get all the parts in for my front end rebuild. I have CryoClots and Hawk LTS pads sitting in the garage, but a pad flaked, I had to do something in a hurry. I think they were $45 for the set here, not great, but not horrible.
Don't mess with the parking brake unless you have to, if it holds the truck still on a hill, it's good enough.
