I have an 04 Expedition EB 4X4 5.4L 102k miles. It has a creaking from rear suspension. I had a friend help diagnose it to the rear but thats as far as we can track it down. When laying under the truck with someone bouncing on the rear bumper i can hear the creak, its coming from the rear suspension. Air shock, coil spring, maybe a control arm bushing, or spring isolator, or air shock bushing. When driving at very low speeds like in a parking lot there is a creaking noise when a small bump or pothole. When i was under it with a friend bouncing on the rear bumper i could feel the creak in the spring the most. Any ideas or issues that you guys have had?? Or maybe anyone have this problem and fixed it?
Disconnect the bottom of the shocks, first one side and bounce the truck to see if the noise stops. If it doesn't, disconnect the other shock and bounce it again to see if that stops the noise. Even if it ends up not being one of the shocks, with them disconnected the truck will bounce much easier and longer to aid you in tracking down the noise.
