cant find part
I have been lookin for a bellhousing for a 94 7.3 idi have been unable to locate it. The tranny I need it for is a np435 4x4. Any suggestions will b looked at since I have tried everything. Thanks

All IDI engines in Ford trucks have the same bell bolt patter, so you may have a better luck if you look for a bell for a mid-'80s 6.9 truck with that trans, especially seeing how the moment the ZF5 came out a 4-speed hand-shaker could only be had under a special order (like how U-haul got their trucks with the C6 even tho the standard slushbox was the E4OD). Actually, was the NP435 ever available for the IDI trucks? I know the T18s and T19s were, but what about the 435?

The 435 never came behind the diesel but will bolt up and work fine, some people doesn't like the wide ratio though.

Well atleast the guys here on the IDI forum are all helpfull. Some of the other forums can be a little touchy at times lol. Most of time I ask you guys questions just cuase I know I will get a response one way or the other. I have said it before and wil say it again... the guys on this forum are the best on FTE!!! The guys on the kentucky chapter are pretty good as well lol.
