Anyone run a 6.0 trans cooler in the 2v V10? I want a larger cooler as I've got the gauge in the red a few times. Seems to me the 7.3psd guys are putting the 6.0 cooler in and I wondered if anyone put one in a V10 and if so does it just bolt right up or do you have to make brackets.

It'll bolt right onto the radiator support,but you'll have to fabricate custom lines.

I got one on mine after I put the BTS tranny in. (Old tranny was actually killed by excessive heat.)
The tranny temps and the water temps actually went up just a little BUT they hold more steady meaning they don't spike up as much when it's pushed.
I push it plenty and live in Mississippi were we've already had temps in the 97° - 98° range. Max temp I've seen on the tranny was 219° (On my ScanGauge). Before the cooler swap, they would spike a little higher than that pretty easily. (224° - 225°) They also dip back down MUCH quicker with the bigger cooler.

Thanks for the info. That's all I was worried about if it would just bolt right up or not gettting some new lines made is no big deal. Did you leave in the origonal and run a dual system? Also does anyone have a picture of what it looks like and where it bolts on to?
